Head to the wine festival in Lille this November for wonderful reds, whites and champagne from some of the country’s finest producers, selling their wares at ridiculous prices. While you’re there, don’t forget to try the local food. Sample hearty rilletes, great moules mariniere (above) and wonderful local cheeses. Don’t forget to visit the Sunday market to pick up some delicious produce to bring home.
